Manufacturer's Brand Overview: [Edit]
V & V is the first genuinely delicious premium energy beverage. It's a refreshing treat by itself as well as the first energy drink tasty enough to use as a mixer to create specialty cocktails. It's the perfect choice for people who need a lift with some flavor. Maintaining a crisp taste in glass bottles, V & V has an old school, vintage charm designed for the sophisticated customer. Years of intense research and development have allowed V & V to create two elegantly crafted flavors: berry and citrus. Packed with vitamins, herbs, and genuine fruit juice, V & V nourishes the mind, body, and soul. Its B-group vitamins and vitamin C help support mental and physical performance by replenishing your body when you're stressed. Ginseng and ginkgo support circulation, memory, and blood flow. The blend of ingredients delivers a smooth and sustained energy lift without the usual energy drink jitters. Now that's something to brag about.

Sugar Free Berry
Category: Energy: Diet; Packaging: 12 oz glass
BevNET Review:
V&V's newest flavor is a sugar free berry flavored energy drink. While it still looks and tastes very similar to a CSD, there's a noticeable punch from the product and a decent bite to the flavor. V&V blended this product well, giving it a full-cal level of sweetness with a no-cal nutrition panel. Packaging is still the same, but they've increased the emphasis on the word "ENERGY" across the front of the label. Smart move, in our opinion. Overall, a very nice tasting product whose biggest obstacle is still its similarities to a CSD.

Berry
Category: Energy: Regular; Packaging: 12 fl oz (355 ml) glass
BevNET Review:
V&V Energy's Berry flavored energy drink is trying to succeed at what very few have been able to do. Specifically, they’re making a product that looks, feels, and tastes like a CSD – and a high-end one, at that -- and are marketing it as an energy drink. As a super premium CSD, this product is extremely drinkable, with cane sugar sweetening its fruity flavor. What V&V is banking on is that the word "ENERGY" (which is prominently featured on the label) will prove to be a function that consumers understand and want to purchase, even at the higher price point that this package and formulation will undoubtedly command. The big question is whether fans of boutique sodas will want energy functionality with a CSD – we don’t know that the market is there yet. But it does taste like a great soda, as well, without much energy taste despite the standard pack of energy ingredients. Overall, a very drinkable carbonated drink that has the value add of functionality.

Citrus
Category: Energy: Regular; Packaging: 12 fl oz (355 ml) glass
BevNET Review:
The sweet citrus flavor of V&V's Citrus Energy is extremely refreshing, with notes of natural tasting lemon and sugar flavors. The "energy" comes from a fairly standard combination of caffeine, ginseng, guarana, ginkgo, and taurine. V&V’s lack of energy flavor and its soda style packaging makes this product feel a lot like a CSD, which could be good in the sense that consumers looking into the soda cooler might pick this product up, but on the other hand it could backfire as its functionality isn’t totally apparent. Regardless, we like the flavor and the nostalgic / premium look of V&V and feel that it’s a good first effort for a company looking to break into the beverage market. The flavor is very drinkable, the ingredients are premium – and mixable -- and it’s not “just another energy drink.” Definitely worth a look.
