Manufacturer's Brand Overview:
[Edit]
Dahlicious Lassi is the only authentic Indian lassi in the United States. This traditional drink, wildly popular across South Asia, blends dahi (a tastier, healthier cousin to yogurt) with pure fruit or spice.
Why dahi? Its authentic Indian lassis key ingredient. Our dahi is Slow-Cultured in small batches, with organic milk from local family farms, for over 20 hours (4x longer than yogurt). Its what makes Dahlicious Lassi naturally sweet (so it needs less added sugar than yogurt) and seriously probiotic (five kinds of active cultures).

BevNET Review:
The mango flavor of Dahlicious Lassi is a goodone, blending big mango flavor with a nicely executed lassi style base. While it's not a perfect substitute for freshly made lassi drinks, this one has a nice yogurt flavor with a medium level of thickness. It's not too sweet, allowing both the yogurt and mango flavors to hit your palate. They've used mangoes from Alphonso, a well known Indian cultivator of the fruit, but we're not sure if that's worth marketing or not. Otherwise, the probiotic content of the drink is the key benefit, offering "5x more" than yogurt. That seems like a good pitch, although it's one that seems a bit under promoted on the drink's label. Otherwise, the packaging is credible as an authentic Indian product, and it, given that it's not shelf stable, one that should pass as a super premium product.

BevNET Review:
Of the lineup, this is the clear winner. This variety blends the base lassi, complete with its pleasant yogurt flavor, with that of wild blueberries. Unlike some companies who list "wild blueberry" as a flavor, Dahlicious Lassi has gone for the real thing by incorporating real wild Maine blueberries. There are bits of blueberry in the drink, which helps give the product a fresh feeling in your mouth. Same goes for yogurt base, which, for the uninitiated, is much thinner than regular yogurt. The live probiotics will be an obvious selling point, as are the top shelf ingredients. All in all, it's a very satisfying and nourishing drink. Packaging is inviting and appetizing, with an emphasis on the blueberry images on the lower portion of the label. If anything, the only concern for this drink is it's perishable nature. We'll chalk that up to the price of being made with high quality ingredients.
