Green Tea Energy with Ginseng & Honey
Category: Energy: Regular; Packaging: 23.5 fl oz (695ml) can
BevNET Review:
Xing's Green Tea Energy Drink is basically a taurine, ginseng, and guarana enhanced version of Xing's Green Tea with Honey flavor. It doesn't drink like an energy drink, although it does have a bit more bite to it than other Xing flavors. Plus, there's additional caffeine from the guarana, which, given the drink's 23.5 oz size, will likely give a jolt to anyone who finishes the whole thing. Overall, we really like the taste, but we're not sure if this will really pass as a credible energy drink. However, as far as "enhanced teas" go (if there is such a thing), this is definitely a worthy entry.

Green Tea with Ginseng & Honey
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 23.5 fl oz (695ml) can
BevNET Review:
One of the more basic flavors of the Xing Tea line is their Green Tea with Ginseng & Honey flavor. Blending green and black teas that are sweetened with honey and cane sugar, this product delivers an enjoyable flavor that feels light in the mouth. This is a good thing, especially since there's plenty of this stuff inside the 23.5 oz can. If it were re-sealable, we might appreciate it more, but it's still hard to beat this product given the price point. Overall, impressive flavor thanks to the use of cane sugar and a package that will certainly appeal to value conscious consumers.

Green Tea with Lemon & Honey
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 23.5 fl oz (695ml) can
BevNET Review:
Usually, when we see cans that are this big we don't expect the flavor inside to be anything that's worth writing home about. However, Xing Tea is definitely an exception. Their Green Tea with Lemon & Honey flavor is one of the better iced teas to come out of a can. They've made this product with what appear to be good ingredients, including brewed green and black tea, cane sugar, honey and ginseng. Unlike competing products, there isn't a syrupy aftertaste or an overpowering level of sweetness. This leaves the product with a mellow body that's extremely refreshing and clean to the finish. On the outside, you have a mammoth 23.5 oz can that emphasizes the "all natural" formulation both with words Asian-themed imagery. It's a fine design, but we find the vertical Xing Tea logo a bit hard to read. Otherwise, we think that this product is a solid mainstream entry.

Green Tea with Peach & Honey
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 23.5 fl oz (695ml) can
BevNET Review:
Peach is generally a fixture of any RTD tea line and Xing Tea is no exception. There's a light base of green and black teas under a moderately sweetened peach flavor. Compared to similarly positioned products, Xing Tea's Peach & Honey flavor is one of the best we've had. Mainly, it's the result of using cane sugar, which gives the product a much lighter and cleaner mouth feel. Like the other Xing flavors, the 23.5 oz packaging feels massive. Overall, this is definitely one of the better mainstream RTD teas we've had in a while.

Half & Half (Premium Tea & Lemonade)
Category: Tea: Alternative; Packaging: 23.5 fl oz (695ml) can
BevNET Review:
Mixing tea and lemonade has become a pretty common combination nowadays, so it makes sense for this flavor to be a part of the Xing Tea lineup. The product starts well, with lemon and tea flavors hitting your tongue followed by a clean sweetness courtesy of cane sugar. Since they've added pear and lemon juices to the mix, the product does have a natural fruit taste to it, which is nice. The finish, however, tastes a bit off with what appears to be pear juice overpowering the rest of the flavor. Still, it's a relatively minor thing for what is otherwise a pleasant tasting product. Packaging is a monster sized 23.5 oz can, which is certainly going to appeal to value conscious consumers. It's decent looking, but could be improved upon, especially with the low (and vertical) placement of the Xing Tea logo.

Just Plain Tea (Green & Black)
Category: Tea: Unsweetened; Packaging: 23.5 fl oz (695ml) can
BevNET Review:
Xing's "Just Plain Tea" is a mixture of straight green and black teas, natural flavors, and citric acid. It has a relatively authentic flavor, although it's definitely not as strong as competing premium unsweetened teas from Ito En or Honest Tea. Really, it's the lack of sweetener and flavoring that exposes this product's bitter base flavor. Plus, we're not quite sure that Xing will appeal to consumers who are seeking an unsweetened brew. That being said, we'd recommend sticking with the sweetened varieties as there are certainly enough to choose from.
